Sandra A. Mitchell

ELLENTON, Fla. — Sandra A. Mitchell, age 55, passed away Wednesday, February. 11, 2026, in Ellenton.

Born August. 15, 1970, Sandra was known for her boundless energy, loving nature and dedication to her family. Sandra was a beacon of love and support, always putting her role as a mother and grandmother first.

Throughout her life, she held various positions, from factory work to customer service, but her most cherished role was caring for her family. Sandra’s high school education was completed in Franklinville, N.Y., which laid the groundwork for her strong work ethic.

Described by those who knew her as a heartwarming presence with an infectious smile and laugh, Sandra was a true free spirit. Her adventurous life with her soul mate, Matt Fuller, was filled with joy and exploration.

She was an avid lover of the outdoors, whether she was tending to her flowers, boating or searching for seashells on the beach. Her creative spirit shone through in her crafts, and she had a special fondness for sea turtles.

Sandra leaves behind her loving partner, Matt Fuller; her children, Christina (Travis Skinner) Ertell, Steven (Alicia Holdcraft) Ertell, Codi and Kelly Ertell, and Matthew (Ann Randall) Fuller. She was also a proud grandmother to Mercedes, Dayiana, Payton, Mikah, Dustin, Jameson, Remington, lzick, Zehki, Stevie, Logan, Lydia, Paizlee and Jacob; and four great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother, William “Billy” Mitchell.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date to honor Sandra’s memory.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Tidwell Hospices Lakewood Ranch Hospice House in Bradenton, FL, 34211, where Sandra received compassionate care in her final days.

Sandra’s legacy of love, laughter, and generosity will continue to inspire all who knew her.
