Mary Jo Allen

FRANKLINVILLE — Mary Jo Allen, formerly of Olean and Cuba Lake, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 10, 2026, at her home, with her loving husband by her side.

Mary Jo was born April 19, 1959, in Olean, and was the daughter of Frederick Charles and Marjorie Ann Pessia Allen.

Mary Jo worked various jobs in sales from furniture retail to phone book and radio advertising and was currently working as an energy advisor for Alas Retail Energy.

Mary Jo enjoyed cooking, but she loved her golden retriever, Harvi.

Mary Jo is survived by the love of her life of 25 years, Eugene P. “Toby” Hickey of Franklinville; and his daughters, Laura and Melissa.

Mary Jo was predeceased by her parents; and her brother, Fred C. Allen, on Dec. 4, 1993.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
