OLEAN — Louis M. Fuller, 78, passed away suddenly on Friday (Feb. 20, 2026) at Olean General Hospital.
Born Nov. 28, 1947, in Buffalo, he was the son of Louis and Dorothy Fuller.
Mr. Fuller worked for many years as a salesman for Sears and for Mastel Ford in Olean.
He enjoyed competing in his local pool league and was an avid Buffalo Bills fan. He loved basketball, appreciated a good afternoon nap, and most importantly treasured every moment spent with his grandchildren, who meant the world to him.
He will be forever missed by his wife, Carolyn Fuller of Olean; his stepchildren, Marc (Danielle) Ellis of Goodyear, Ariz., Venita (Berry) Armprester of Olean, Thomas (Dineen) Ellis of Olean and Ty Ellis of Salamanca; his grandchildren, Jordan, Bryce, Quentin, David, Drew, Damon, Danee, Shelita, Stephen, Tyra, Tori, Trey, Demar, Sharnaee, Madison, Michelle and Sydney; his siblings, Deebrah F. Sells and Christopher Fuller, both of Buffalo; his good friends, Anthony, Bill, Pete, Harold and David; 20 great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was predeceased by his parents; and his two sons, Marion Fuller and Jason Fuller.
Friends will be received from noon to 1 p.m. Saturday (Feb. 28, 2026) at the Casey, Halwig and Hartle Funeral Home, 3128 West State Road, Olean. A funeral service will begin at 1 p.m. Pastor Paris Maine of Epic Church will officiate.
