Donna L. Wilson

ALLEGANY — Donna Louise Wilson, 89, passed away at Absolut Care of Allegany on Sunday (Feb. 22, 2026).

Born Jan. 22, 1937, in Clarion, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Walter Leroy and Lois Louise Ginkle Wilson.

Donna completed training in drafting at BOCES.

She was an employee of Acme Electric for several years, at both the Cuba and Allegany plants. She also practiced upholstery locally for a few years as well.

She was an artist in her own right and was skilled at freehand drawing and painting. She loved gardening and devoted much of her life to her family and her pets.

Donna leaves behind her only child, her daughter, Victoria Ann Marie Wilson Thompson; three grandchildren, Clifford Justin “C.J.” Thompson, Jamie Lee Thompson Stutz and Shae (Caleb) Bess; seven great-grandchildren, David Ross Thompson, Sierra Nola Stutz, Keaton Carter Bess, Travis Christopher Price, Ashlynn Marie Price, Kendrick Hale Bess and Kyrie Nova Bess; as well as several cousins, nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her maternal and paternal grandparents; her parents; and several aunts, uncles, cousins and a few nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday (Feb. 26, 2026)  at the Casey, Halwig & Hartle Funeral Home, 3128 W. State Road, Olean. A funeral service will begin at 1 p.m., with burial to follow in St. Bonaventure Cemetery.
