OLEAN — Linda L. Kayes, 79, of Olean, passed away Friday, Feb. 13, 2026.

Born Feb. 17, 1946, to the late Millard and Myrtle Malone Rank, Linda was a graduate of Olean High School and proudly worked at Cutco Corp. for over 30 years.

She was a member of the Southern Tier Quilt Guild and enjoyed reading, gardening, spending time with her family and chatting with her neighbors.

She is survived by her daughter, Heidi (Michael) Tambroni of Camillus; and grandchildren, Gabriella and Dominick.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert “Moon” Kayes; her sisters, Mae Rank and Joan Hall; and brother, Millard “Larry” Rank.

There will be no services.

To celebrate her memory, donations may be made to the Olean Public Library or Interfaith Caregivers, Inc. of Olean.
