OLEAN — Linda L. Kayes, 79, of Olean, passed away Friday, February 13, 2026. Born on February 17, 1946, to the late Millard and Myrtle Malone Rank, Linda was a graduate of Olean High School and proudly worked at Cutco Corp. for over 30 years. She was preceded in death by her husband Albert “Moon” Kayes, her sisters Mae Rank, Joan Hall, and brother Millard “Larry” Rank. She is survived by her daughter Heidi (Michael) Tambroni of Camillus, N.Y. and grandchildren Gabriella and Dominick. She was a member of the Southern Tier Quilt Guild and enjoyed reading, gardening, spending time with her family and chatting with her neighbors. There will be no services. To celebrate her memory, donations may be made to the Olean Public Library or Interfaith Caregivers, Inc. of Olean.
