Rand Lee ‘Randy’ Benjamin
FRANKLINVILLE — Randy Benjamin, of Franklinville, passed away Wednesday (Feb. 11, 2026) at Buffalo General Hospital, after a courageous battle with cancer.
Randy was born Sept. 14, 1956, in Olean, and was the son of Lloyd L. and Betty L. Cook Benjamin. On Aug. 15, 1981, in East Otto, he married Eileen Lincoln, who survives.
Randy worked for the NYS DOT for over 40 years and was a part-time bus driver for the Franklinville School District, Ten Broeck Academy.
He was very active in his community; Randy was a member of the Franklinville Fire Department for over 50 years. He was a former chief and a past commissioner.
Randy enjoyed fishing, camping and golfing. He was an avid St. Bonaventure Basketball fan and a NASCAR fan. Randy enjoyed watching western shows but most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his grandkids.
Randy is survived by his wife, Eileen; two children, Cale (Jennifer) Benjamin and Rachelle Benjamin; his mother, Betty, four grandchildren, Reese, Rylan, Abria and Rose; two siblings, Thomas Benjamin and Susan Mainus; and many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his father, Lloyd L. Benjamin; and a brother, Jerome Benjamin.
Friends will be received from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday (Feb. 15, 2026) at the Babbitt & Easton Funeral Home, 7 N. Main St., Franklinville. A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Monday (Feb. 16, 2026) at the Franklinville Fire Department. The Chaplin Russell Hatch will officiate. Burial will be in Mount Prospect Cemetery in the Spring.
