Officials from the City of Salamanca, Seneca Nation, Salamanca school district and other stakeholders gathered Friday afternoon for the grand re-opening of the Bill Flanigan Memorial Ice Skating Pond. Family of the late Flanigan and other community members enjoyed skating on the new synthetic ice rink, free skate rentals, hot refreshments, music and more.
