HINSDALE — Delores Ann King Minerich, 74, of Hinsdale, passed away peacefully in Salem, Ohio, on Thursday, Feb. 5, 2026, at 5:05 p.m.

Born in Olean and raised in Hinsdale, Delores grew up with the values of kindness, family, and hard work, qualities she carried with her throughout her life.

She began her career at AVX in Olean, where she was appreciated for her reliability and warm spirit. She later continued her working years in California, retiring from Sunstrand Inc. after many years of dedicated service.

She is survived by her children, Nicholas Grimes and Tracy and Troy MacNeal; grandchildren, Darrian Baker and Colten MacNeal; sister, Judy Bailey; brother, Jim King; and stepsister, Rhonda Walterich.

Delores was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas King and Winifred Ingalls; and her brother, Daniel King.

To those who knew her, Delores was a gentle and caring presence. Someone who offered warmth without being asked, listened with patience, and made others feel supported. Her memory will be held with deep love by all whose lives she touched.
