Debera A. Weatherly, loving wife, mother and grandmother
CUBA — Debera A. Weatherly, 68, of 4350 Rte. 305, Cuba, passed away Monday (Feb. 2, 2026) at home after an illness.
Born Jan. 10, 1958, in Gowanda, she was a daughter of Wallace and Doris Selleck Payne. She has been married to David L. Weatherly Sr. for over 30 years.
She was a crew member at McDonalds in Cuba for 12 years prior to retirement.
She loved her family and especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, collecting salt and pepper shakers, baking and her flowers gardens.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children, David (Melissa) Weatherly Jr. of Olean, Andrea Weatherly of Weston Mills, Heidi Kemp of Erie, Pa., Daisy Whitcher of Cuba, Amy (Timothy) Manroe of Olean, Bobby Jo (Joseph) Puszcz of Great Valley, Richard Baker, Timothy (Michele) Baker, Aaron Weatherly, Randy Martin, Howard Martin and Billy Martin, all of Olean, and Jesse (Alyssa) Weatherly of Cuba; 17 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; brothers, David (Peg) Payne of West Seneca, Chuck Payne of Gowanda and Lynn (Bonnie) Payne of South Carolina; a sister, Linda (Richard) Klancer of Gowanda; a sister-in-law, Sharon Payne of Tennessee; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brothers, William, Robert and Curt (Claudia) Payne; and a sister, Diana Payne.
Friends will be received from noon to 2 and 3 to 5 p.m. Thursday (Feb. 5, 2026) at the Mark F. Rinker Funeral Home & Memorial Service, Inc., 9 Bull St., Cuba, with a funeral beginning at 5 p.m. Pastor Clara Wilder will officiate.
