SHINGLEHOUSE, Pa. — Travis S. “Shovelhead” Wackwitz, 42, of Shinglehouse, passed way unexpectedly at the home of his parents in Shinglehouse on Saturday (Jan. 31, 2026) after suffering an apparent heart attack.

Family and friends may gather from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday (Feb. 4, 2026) at the Virgil L. Howard Funeral Home, 118 S. Union St., Shinglehouse, where funeral services will follow at 8 p.m.

Travis’ family has entrusted his care and funeral arrangements to Kevin J. Dusenbury, funeral director/owner of the Virgil L. Howard Funeral Home, Shinglehouse.
