Ethel K. Holsapple McKerrow
She was born Feb. 17, 1937 in Kingston, a daughter of the late Milton and Inez Elliott Holsapple.
She graduated from Albany High School in 1954 and worked as an executive secretary to the superintendent of Albany Public Schools.
Ethel enjoyed gardening, watching birds, and spending time with her grandchildren. She also gave the Lord a lifelong service.
In 1969, she married George McKerrow and moved to Freedom, where she was the rural mail carrier for 23 years.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children, Kim (Ed) Carley of Freedom and Eric (Terri) McKerrow of Nunda; grandchildren, Zackary, Dustin, Lauren and Paige; as well as three great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her siblings, Robert, Donald and Marjorie Holsapple.
Friends may call from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. today (Feb. 3, 2026) at the WS Davis Funeral Home, 358 Main St., Arcade, where a funeral service will follow at 1 p.m. Final interment will take place in Freedom Cemetery.
