Carol A. Wiltsie

SALAMANCA — Carol A. Wiltsie, 76, of Salamanca, died Tuesday morning (Jan. 27, 2026) at Olean General Hospital.

Born Oct. 2, 1949, in Salamanca, she was the daughter of the late Orland Pierce and Geraldine Biscup Pierce Courteau. She was married Dec. 31, 1975, in Salamanca, to David Wiltsie, who predeceased her in 1999.

She had been employed as a cleaner with the Salamanca Central School District and had worked at various factories in the area.

Carol enjoyed spending time with her family, joking around and especially spoiling her grandchildren. She also loved to do crafts and go shopping.

Surviving are a daughter, Danielle Wiltsie of Salamanca; three grandchildren, Haley Armstrong of Jamestown, Jesse Armstrong Jr. and Ayden Armstrong, both of Salamanca; a great-grandchild; a brother, Lawrence (Nancy) Pierce of Salamanca; and several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by two great-grandchildren, Roman Delity and Oakleigh Delity.

There will be no visitation. A memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family. Burial will be in Crawford Cemetery, Salamanca.
