Skiers enjoyed the clear skies and sub-freezing temperatures Friday on the slopes of HoliMont, the first day of the annual Winter Blues Weekend festival in nearby Ellicottville. The 25th iteration of the popular blues and jazz event kicked off Friday evening and continues through Sunday afternoon. Presented by the Ellicottville Chamber of Commerce, the free event will allow visitors to enjoy over 15 of the region’s best blues bands at many food and beverage establishments in the village.
