Athletes and individuals were honored during the New York State Special Olympics Cattaraugus County awards dinner Tuesday at the Café LaVerna at St. Bonaventure University. The athletes receiving awards included Kari Jo Curtis, Most Improved Bocce Award; Joshua Gagliardo, Bowling Sportsmanship Award; Matt Herbert, Outstanding Bowler Award; and Jacob Spears, Bocce Sportsmanship Award.
