Roger A. Cornell

BUFFALO — Roger A. Cornell, aged 72, passed away Tuesday (Jan. 6, 2026) in Buffalo.

A former resident of Olean, he was born March 13, 1953, to Glenn and Geraldine Cornell.

Roger was a kind-hearted and soft-spoken individual. Our father was a man of God.

He was a huge fan of karaoke singing the oldies, more specifically Elvis Presley. Our father was a man of simplicity and seen the world through a lens uniquely his own.

Roger is survived by his sons, Mark, Michael (Dollie) and Richard Cornell; and daughter, Amber (Dan Moore) Everitt; alongside many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Glenn and Geraldine Cornell; brothers, Glenn and Gary; and sisters, Carol and Cheryl.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date to honor Roger’s memory and legacy. Further details will be provided to family and friends as they become available.
