LIMESTONE — Edwardene J. “Eddie” Schoonover, 74, of Limestone Run, Limestone, passed away Tuesday (Jan. 6, 2026) surrounded by her loving family, at her residence

Born Aug. 25, 1951, in Bradford, Pa., she was a daughter of the late Raymond J. and Doris “Jeanne” Raught Tingley. On October 21, 1971, in Limestone, she married John F. “Jack” Schoonover, who preceded her in death on June 19, 2012.

Eddie was a 1969 graduate of Limestone Union Free School.

Eddie was a stay-at-home mom who really enjoyed helping raise her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, her greatest joy was just being with her family. She enjoyed camping, crafting and quilting with her friends.

She was a member of the Limestone Volunteer Fire Department. She helped with the fish fries at Lent, the Dice Runs and anything else someone would ask of her.

Surviving are three daughters, Kari Schoonover of Limestone, Keli (Jim) Rounsville of Limestone and Kasi (Scott) Salerno of Bradford; nine grandchildren, Quinton (Hilda), Hannah, Lacey (Austin), Maddison, Collin (Meronica), Rylee (Easton), Kyle, Ianna and MiaLynn; five great-grandchildren, Carrigan, Aaliyah, Finnigan, John and Fischer; four sisters, Christina (Stephen) Rodgers of Partlow, Valley., Janice (Doug) Stiles of Bradford, Tammy (Rich) Grove of Bradford and Debbie (Donnie) Forester of Franklinville; three brothers, Jerome (the late Tammy) Tingley of Limestone, Jeffrey (Cathy) Tingley of Olean and John (Lorrie) Tingley of Colonial Heights, Va.; two sisters-in-law, Candice Tingley and Marcie Tulley; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Jack; and two brothers, Gregory Tingley and Kenneth Tulley.

Friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Life from noon to 2 p.m. Sunday (Jan. 11, 2026) at the Limestone Community Center. Burial will be in Limestone Cemetery.
