Lorraine Mildred Mascho, loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother

OLEAN — Lorraine M. Mascho, of Route 16, passed away Friday (Jan. 2, 2026) at Olean General Hospital.

Lorraine was born Oct. 2, 1963, in Smethport, Pa., and was the daughter of Lloyd and Lois Severance Hacket. She was formerly married to Earnest Larrabee and Ted Mascho.

Lorraine was a stay-at-home mother. Raising her family was the most important thing to her.

She enjoyed being outdoors, playing with her dogs, but most of all spending time with her family.

Lorraine is survived by her children, Lorenda (Terry) Larrabee, TJ Mascho and Shelley Folts; a stepdaughter, Lisa Cousins; and six grandchildren, Decoda Larrabee, Addison Scutt Jr., Conner Scutt, Mariah (Mathew) Sommer, Autumn and Adam.

Lorraine was predeceased by her parents; and brother, Lorne Hacket Gerharts on June 5, 2025.

A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held from 3 to 5 p.m. Tuesday (Jan. 13, 2026) at the Letro-McIntosh-Spink Funeral Home, Inc., 646 E. State St., Olean.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Cattaraugus County SPCA at 2944 Route 16 Olean, NY 14760.
