Tami Lee Darrin, beloved mother, grandmother, sister
RICHBURG — Tami Lee Darrin, 58, of 151 Main St., Richburg, passed away Monday (Dec. 29, 2025) at Olean General Hospital, after a long illness.
Born Sept. 5, 1967, in Cuba, she was a daughter of Wilford and Hilda Mann Burdick.
Tami was a graduate of Bolivar High School.
After high school she moved to Florida and worked as a drill bit inspector for MA Ford. Returning to the Bolivar area, she worked as a certified nurse’s aide in homes and later worked in the deli at the Bolivar Shop and Save, prior to becoming disabled.
Tami loved and adored her grandchildren, spending time with family, holidays and spending time with her friends at Generations in Bolivar. She found great peace at the beach, listening to Peral Jam, and will be remembered for her loving and caring spirit.
She is survived by two sons, Bradley (Melody) Darrin of Shinglehouse, Pa. and Jacob (Kendra Knowlton) Darrin of Olean; her grandson, Xavier Darrin; a granddaughter, Amiyah Darrin; two brothers, Ronald (Marian) Burdick of Richburg and James (Marlene) Burdick of Wellsville; two sisters, Barbara (Dave) Treusdell of Belfast and Diane (Tim) Talbert of Frankfort, Ind.; several nieces and nephews; and her feline companion, Sassy, who she rescued from the streets.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her dog, Max.
Friends may call from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, Jan. 17, 2026, at the Mark F. Rinker Funeral Home & Memorial Service, Inc., 554 S. Main St., Bolivar, at which a Celebration of Life Service will be held. The Rev. David Herne will officiate.
