Dona M. Keis

LITTLE VALLEY/ TEMPLE, Texas — Dona M. Keis, born Dec. 19, 1932, in Franklinville, passed away on Sunday (Dec. 28, 2025).

She was the daughter of Carl E. Snyder and Pauline Bliton Snyder.

She married William G. Keis on Aug. 15, 1953. In 1969, she moved to Texas, where she owned and operated a store for many years, before returning to New York in 2001.

She is survived by her children, Robert C. (Kelly) Keis Sr., Melessa (Lance) Boyd, William E. (Lisa) Keis and Margaret Blackmon; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Diane Wilson; her brothers, Leland Snyder and Charles Snyder; and her sister, Ramona Meachum.

Interment will be in the spring at Sunset Hill Cemetery in Ellicottville, at the convenience of the family.

Services are under the care of Mentley Funeral Home Inc., 411 Rock City St. in Little Valley.
