ALLEGANY — Laurie A. Ozzella, 58, of Allegany, passed away Friday (Dec. 5, 2025) at Olean General Hospital, surrounded in love by her family.
Born June 25, 1967, in Olean, she was the daughter of Fred and Barbara Crocker Boland.
Laurie graduated from Olean High School and received an associate degree from Jamestown Community College. She most recently worked for the Allegany Regional Development Center in Salamanca.
She loved all furry pets and was a dedicated volunteer at the Cattaraugus County SPCA. She assisted with its TNR (Trap, Neuter and Return) program and lovingly fostered kittens. Her warm heart and friendship also included being a helpful neighbor. She always had her loyal pet dog “Max” at her side for company and comfort.
She leaves behind three children, Sheena (William Cole) Ozzella of Buffalo, Dominick (Stacy Hegge) Ozzella of Cuba and Josef Ozzella of Buffalo; four grandchildren, Rylee, Deluca, Marigold “Mar” and Hendrix “Hank”; one sister, Terri (Mike) Harrison of Allegany; one brother, Paul (Betty) Isaman of Knapp’s Creek; several nieces and nephews; and her “grand puppies.”
She was predeceased by a brother, Mike Boland Sr.; and her parents, Fred Boland and Barbara Boland Isaman.
A Celebration of Life gathering will be held in June, 2026, at a date to be announced.
