KILL BUCK — Leon D. “Doug” Fuller, 83, of Windfall Road, Kill Buck, peacefully passed away Sunday (Nov. 30, 2025) at the Pines Healthcare & Rehabilitation Center, Olean.
Born No. 15, 1942, in Salamanca, he was the son of the late James R. and Maude Nobles Fuller. He was married Nov. 15, 1963, in Salamanca, to the love of his life, the former Vivian Whitmer, who predeceased him in 2018.
He had been employed with the City of Salamanca Dept. of Public Works and had previously worked for the former Highland Plastics. During his retirement, he worked at the Cardinal Hills Golf Course in Randolph.
Doug loved spending time with his family. He was best known for his sense of humor and generosity. He enjoyed many things in life, especially hunting, fishing and camping.
Surviving are a daughter, Mary (Ken) Fuller of Allegany; a son, Leon “Frog” (Molly) Fuller of Limestone; two grandchildren, Jennifer (Cale) Benjamin of Kill Buck and Brandie (Hunter) Keppel of Russell, Pa.; three great-grandchildren, Reese, Rylan and Rose Benjamin; a sister, Lois Steinbroner; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
In addition to his wife, he was predeceased by six brothers, Fred, Tony, John, Taylor, Charlie and Bob; and nine sisters, Mary, Betty, Leitha, Joyce, Dora, Eva, Norma and June.
There will be no visitation. A Celebration of Life will be held at the convenience of the family.
Funeral services are under the direction of the O’Rourke & O’Rourke Inc. Funeral Home, 25 River St., Salamanca.
