A partnership between the Salamanca Youth Bureau and the Lighthouse Community Kitchen gave seven Salamanca area students the opportunity to make apple pies for their families Tuesday afternoon. The youths helped prepare the pies with the assistance of Director of Nutrition Services Jacob Fellows, Youth Bureau Director Markie Phillips and two youth center attendants. Once finished, the kids could bring them home ready to be baked on Thanksgiving Day.
