On a bright Monday morning, holiday decorating got underway in the village of Wellsville as village crews installed the towering Santa Claus in front of the Chamber of Commerce on Main Street. A little farther down the street volunteers gathered to decorate the Fassett Green Space for the first Jingle and Glow event organized by the Thelma Rogers Genealogical and Historical Society. The decorations will be illuminated by Santa when the annual Santa Claus Parade takes place Saturday at 4 p.m. on Main Street.
