Over 80 community members gathered Saturday in Olean’s Lincoln Park for the "Remove the Regime" event. Protests took place nationally in places like Washington, D.C., and Charleston, N.C., calling for the impeachment of President Donald Trump. Signs held by attendees read "Honk if you support democracy" and "Stop Trump's Power Grab." The event also collected donations to support local unhoused individuals in the community. Items collected consisted of thermal socks, gloves, feminine hygiene products, and non-perishable food items. The next event is scheduled for December.
