Duane Lee ‘Buck’ Stull
ELDRED, Pa. — Duane Lee “Buck” Stull, 90, of Bennett Street, passed away Saturday, Nov. 8, 2025, at Olean (N.Y.) General Hospital, while surrounded by his family.
Born July 1, 1935, in Olean, he was a son of Lee Evans and Charlotte Anna Russell Stull. On Oct. 19, 1953, in London, England, he married Shirley A. Smith, who preceded him in death. He then married Donna Rhea Jersey on July 10, 1982, in Rockville, Md., who also preceded him in death on Nov. 11, 2005.
Buck was a graduate of Eldred High School in 1953. He then went on to receive degrees from Penn State University as well as Old Dominion College.
Mr. Stull was a veteran, having joined the U.S. Navy in July 1954. He went on to serve for 20 years and retired as a CTAC chief, and where he was able to see much of the world being stationed in Morocco, Cyprus, London, Washington D.C., Taiwan, Norfolk and Guam.
Following his retirement from the navy he was employed in Rockville and Charleston, S.C. prior to returning to Eldred, where he would live out the rest of his days.
Buck was a member of the Eldred United Methodist Church, the Fleet Reserve Association, Duke Center Masonic Lodge 555 F and AM, the Keystone Chapter, Order of the Eastern Star, as well as the Eldred Boro Fire Department and Fire Police.
Surviving are one daughter, Tami (Mike) Boyle of the Villages, Fla.; a stepdaughter, Quincy B. Koepf of Virginia; a daughter-in-law, Melissa Scott Price; and two grandchildren, Kristen Lee and Gregg Lee Stull.
In addition to both of his wives, he was preceded in death by a son, Wade Lee Stull on June 15, 2016; and a stepdaughter, Kelly E. Koepf.
Private services were held at the convenience of the family. Burial was in Lamphier Cemetery, Eldred.
