SWNY-NWPA Men’s Am Golf Tournament donates $20,000 to Local Foundations & Scholarships
The 89th annual Southwestern New York - Northwestern Pennsylvania Men’s Amateur Golf Tournament has donated $20,000 to its four primary beneficiaries, HomeCare & Hospice Foundation, The Intandem Foundation, Brady’s Cause(Supporting animal welfare in Cattaraugus County) thru the Cattaraugus Region Community Foundation, and the newly added Olean General Hospital Foundation. Intandem and Homecare Foundations received $6000 each while Brady’s Cause received $3000 and the Olean General Hospital Foundation received $2000. Two scholarships were given out to two local seniors in August for $1500 each. The tournament has given over $470,000 in donations over the past 26 years. Presenting and receiving the checks from left to right are Erica Dreher(Special Events Coordinator at OGH Foundation), Steve Jackson(OGH Foundation President), (Frank Higgins (Brady’s Cause Chairman and SWNY-NWPA Committee Member), Steve Campbell(SWNY-NWPA Committee Member), Karen Graham(Senior Vice President of Communications & Development at Intandem), Mari Howard (President & Chief Executive Officer at Intandem), Kyle Henzel (SWNY-NWPA Chairman), Knut Johnsen(SWNY-NWPA Committee Member), Melissa Sullivan (Chief Executive Officer at HomeCare Hospice), and Meme Yanetsko (Director of Advancement at HomeCare Hospice Foundation).
