Tina M. Fancher, loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend to everyone
OLEAN — Tina M. Fancher, of Olean, passed away Friday, Sept. 5, 2025, at Strong Memorial Hospital, after a long illness, with her loving family by her side.
Tina was born in Geneseo on Feb. 7, 1957, the daughter of Jack and Martina Braley Fancher.
After graduating from Geneseo High School in 1976, she moved to Friendship, working numerous jobs while raising four beautiful daughters.
Tina had a love for bingo nights, the smell of something homemade baking in the oven, and above all, the laughter and love of her family. These everyday joys painted the picture of a life well lived and a heart full of love.
Tina is survived by her daughters, Martina Rivera, Michelle Rivera, Rebecca (David) Rivera and Rosanna Rivera; 16 grandchildren, Keshaun Rivera, Kristiana Rivera, Jahkaree McClain, Mykel Rivera, Davion Hudson, Asianah Cottom, Jermaine DaSilva, Shanel Scott, Jason Collins, Andre Garcia, JaeAndra Garcia, Kailyn Walsh, Malakye Wofford, Rheyqwon (Kya) Davis, ThaiTyeena Davis and Massiah Franklin; six great-grandchildren; two sisters, Sherrial Fancher and Marianne Fancher; and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her parents, Jack and Martina.
Friends will be received from noon to 1 p.m. Saturday (Sept. 20, 2025) at the Mt. Zion Christian Assembly, 321 Front St., Olean, with a funeral service beginning at 1 p.m., the Rev. R. Stanley Parks officiating. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Mt. Zion Christian Assembly.
Arrangements are under the direction of Guenther Funeral Home, Inc., 1303 E. State St., Olean.
