Patricia Ann Ensell

OLEAN — Patricia Ann Ensell, of South 10th Street, passed away Tuesday, Aug. 19, 2025, at home, surrounded by her loving family.

Patricia was born Nov. 26, 1939, in Salamanca, and was the daughter of Edwin J. and Leona Kissel Kelly. On Nov. 21, 1959, in Allegany, she married Albert C. Ensell, who predeceased her Sept. 27, 2021.

Patricia devoted her life to working various jobs, raising her five children and every neighbor kid who wandered over. Patricia will be most remembered for her welcoming smile and for touching those around her to love unconditionally because tomorrow is not promised.

Rest in peace beautiful lady.

Patricia is survived by her five children, Audrey (John) Hale of Olean, Scott (Jane) Ensell of Merchantville, N.J., Daniel Ensell of Olean, Alan (Dianne) Ensell of Brooksville, Fla. and Mary Lynne Ensell of Olean; 11 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; two brothers, Richard Doran of Allegany and Edward (Linda) Doran of New Jersey; and several nieces and nephews.

Patricia was predeceased by her husband; baby boy Ensell in 1970; a grandson, Cody A. Safford; and a granddaughter, Samantha L. Ensell.

There will be no services at this time.
