Maria Lee Cooper, loving mother

DELEVAN — Maria Lee Cooper, of North Main Street, passed away Thursday (Aug. 14, 2025).

Maria was born Feb. 16, 1988, in Wenatchee, Wash., and was the daughter of Mark and Susan Haines Cowls.

Maria enjoyed being a stay-at-home mom. Raising her three children was her whole life.

Maria is survived by her three children, Caden J. Cooper, Talon O. Fuller and Elara J. Tilly; her father, Mark Cowls of Wenatchee; her three siblings, Shannon A. Cooper of Florida, Steven J. (Robert) Carnevale, of Georgia and Danile V. (Jessica) Cooper of Arcade; and several nieces and nephews.

Maria was predeceased by her mother, Susan A. Nelson, on July 8, 2018; and her stepfather, James E. Sanders, on July 5, 2003.

Friends will be received starting at 1 p.m. Saturday (Aug. 23, 2025) at the Arcade Fire Hall, 145 North St., Arcade.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Babbitt & Easton Funeral Home, 7 N. Main St., Franklinville.
