JCC Golf Classic raises $13,000 for alumni associations

ELLICOTTVILLE — The 2025 JCC Golf Classic raised more than $13,000 for the SUNY Jamestown Community College alumni associations.

The 33rd annual tournament was held June 18 at Holiday Valley’s Double Black Diamond course. Proceeds from the event will support student scholarships and opportunities on JCC’s Cattaraugus and Jamestown campuses.

The men’s championship was won by Jason Stronz, Kevin Stronz, Greg Johnson and Jerome Lee Yaw.

“Thank you to all who participated, sponsored, volunteered, and donated to our alumni golf classic,” said Katrina Leake, JCC’s development and alumni relations coordinator. “As part of JCC’s 75th anniversary, the Cattaraugus County and Jamestown campus alumni associations collaborated to make this tournament better than ever. It’s exciting to see our community come together again to help future JCC students.”

The tournament included 144 golfers and 36 teams playing in men’s, women’s, and mixed divisions.
