OLEAN — The tradition of fireworks over Bradner Stadium to celebrate Independence Day continued Friday night as the Olean Oilers treated the area to baseball, community gathering, music and the pyrotechnics as night fell.

Two live bands, Nerds Gone Wild followed by Vinny and the Mudflaps entertained on the Seven Mountains Media stage. Several food trucks were set up as well.

While the Oilers fell to Dansville during the afternoon game, 11-4, in New York Collegiate Baseball League play, the organization won the day with its hosting of the activities and the fireworks show.
