BATH — The Arc of Steuben Foundation will host the Annual Arc Star Golf Classic at the Bath Country Club on June 6.
The tournament will be a four-person scramble format (men’s, women’s and mixed teams) with a 9 a.m. shotgun start.
“We are still looking for a few more teams and still accepting donations from local businesses who would like to sponsor our event,” said Myriah Perry, event chairperson.
She thanked event sponsors Chemung Canal Trust Company, Wilkins RV, Solutions Development Firm, ServU Credit Union, Frey & Campbell, Inc., KeyBank, Wegmans, Mercury Aircraft Foundation, Maple City Savings Bank and Alfred State College.
There will be multiple hole-in-one prize holes that range from $500 to $10,000, as well as closest to the pin and longest drive awards. The cost of the tournament is $80/per person ($320 per team) and includes a cart, 18 holes of golf, breakfast, lunch, dinner, goodie bag, and snacks and beverages.
“Event proceeds go directly toward opportunities for people with special needs,” Perry said. “Last year’s tournament allowed the Arc of Steuben Foundation to provide training and educational opportunities for individuals with developmental disabilities, uniforms, and travel accommodations for Steuben County’s Green Machine athletic teams, and much more.”
