Police report

WELLSVILLE — New York State Police reported Friday that a Wellsville man was charged with crimes against a child under the age of 17.

Bradley J. Carter, 32, of Wellsville, was charged at 12:42 p.m. Thursday with promoting a sexual performance by a child under the age of 17, a class D felony, and acting in a manner injurious to a child under the age of 17, a class A misdemeanor.

Carter was released on his own recognizance and due in Wellsville Town Court at a later date. No other information was available at press time.

Olean Police

  • Thursday, 11:27 p.m., Amanda M. Reagan, 34, of 312 W. Filbert St., Rochester, was charged with driving while intoxicated with a previous conviction within 10 years, a class E felony; right of way violation and refusal of breath test, both infractions. Reagan was held in lieu of $250 bail.
  • Friday, 10:15 a.m., no injuries were reported in a two-vehicle accident on Front Street. A vehicle operated by Robin L. Loucks, 60, of 815 Horse Run Road, Shinglehouse, Pa., was stopped at a stop sign on Front Street when it was struck by a vehicle operated by Amie J. Johnson, 21, of 414 Alder Court, 7, Olean, who was making a right turn on to Front Street from Seneca Street. Johnson was charged with failure to keep right, an infraction.
  • Friday, 2:16 p.m., no injuries were reported in a two-vehicle accident on Washington Street. A vehicle operated by John P. Coulter, 59, of 460 Indiana Ave., Olean, was stopped on Washington Street when it was struck by a vehicle backing out of a drive that was operated by Lisa M. Bhe, 48, of 609 Garden Ave., Olean. Bhe was charged with unsafe backing, an infraction.
  • Friday, 4:31 p.m., no injuries were reported in a two-vehicle accident on North Union Street. A vehicle operated by Stephen C. Groth, 59, of 12 Goss Ave., Portville, was heading south on North Union Street when it was struck by a vehicle backing out of a parking space operated by Ann E. Rogers, 61, of 6379 Sterling Circle, Victor. Rogers was charged with unsafe backing, an infraction.
  • Friday, 5:01 p.m.

, Frank Ryan Haskins, 20, npa, was charged with possession of a hypodermic instrument and seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, both class A misdemeanors. Haskins was allegedly found with a glass pipe containing cocaine residue and two hypodermic needles. He was issued an appearance ticket to appear in Olean City Court at a later date. Haskins was also found to have an outstanding bench warrant and was turned over to the Cuba Police Department.

  • PORTVILLE — Albert N. Doxey, 37, of Portville, was charged at an unreported time June 8 with second-degree harassment, a violation, after an alleged incident in the town of Wirt. Doxey was issued an appearance ticket and due in Wirt Town Court June 26.
  • WELLSVILLE

— Jeremiah D. Edwards, 27, of Wellsville, was charged at an unreported time Wednesday with first-degree promoting prison contraband, following an incident that occurred at Allegany County Jail. He was arraigned in Amity Town Court and sentenced to 30 days incarceration in the Allegany County Jail.

  • WEST ALMOND— A one-vehicle accident was reported at 9:01 p.m. Wednesday on Interstate 86 at the exit 32 ramp. Randy T. Bratcher Jr., 31, of Dansville, was identified as the driver. No injuries were reported.
  • ALLEN — A one-vehicle accident was reported at 7:16 a.m. Thursday on County Road 15A and Charles White Road. Paul Mark Warden, 62, of Penn Yan, was identified as the driver. No injuries were reported.
  • GENESEE — A one-vehicle accident was reported at 9:06 a.m. Thursday on State Route 417 and Sanford Hollow Road. Christopher J. Jordan, 46, of Olean, was identified as the driver. No injuries were reported.

  • —Mark F. Farwell, 49, of Scio, was charged at 9:36 a.m. Thursday with acting in a manner injurious to a child, a class A misdemeanor. He was released on his own recognizance.
  • ALLEGANY — A two-vehicle accident was reported at 10:52 a.m. Thursday in the Walmart parking lot. Tanya M. Hocker, 46, of Bradford, Pa. and Danny D. Williams, 68, of Great Valley, were identified as the drivers. No injuries were reported.
  • ALMOND — A one-vehicle accident was reported at 2:23 p.m. Thursday on State Highway 21 and Satterlee Hill Road. Alfred R. Price, 63, of Hornell, was identified as the driver. No injuries were reported.
  • FILLMORE — A two-vehicle accident was reported at 3:28 p.m. Thursday on Lowell Lane and State Route 19. David Wayne Stenzel, 55, of Fillmore, was identified as a driver. An unidentified 16-year-old Fillmore male was reported to be the second driver. No injuries were reported.
  • YORKSHIRE — Gene Tingue, 62, of Delevan, was charged at 5:37 p.m. Thursday with third-degree criminal mischief, a class E felony. He was issued an appearance ticket.
  • FRANKLINVILLE

— A one-vehicle accident was reported at 7:57 p.m. Thursday on Rushford Road and Sunset Boulevard. Peter J. Spear, 64, of Franklinville, was identified as the driver. No injuries were reported.

  • BELFAST — A one-vehicle accident was reported at 7:59 p.m. Thursday on County Roads 26 and 16. An unidentified 18-year-old Belmont female was reported as a driver. No injuries were reported.
  • CANEADEA — A one-vehicle accident was reported at 8:52 p.m. Thursday on State Highway 19 and Canal Street. John Michael Jordan, 41, of Houghton, was identified as the driver. No injuries were reported.
  • OLEAN

— Dale X. Blessing, 69, of Box Elder, S.D., was charged at 9:54 p.m. Thursday with driving while intoxicated and operating a motor vehicle with a blood alcohol content of 0.08 percent or greater, both unclassified misdemeanors, and unsafe turn/failure to signal, an infraction. He was issued an appearance ticket.

  • WILLING — A one-vehicle accident was reported at 1:24 a.m. Friday on Hallsport and Covel roads. Tammy R. Hunt, 37, of Whitesville, was identified as the driver. No injuries were reported.

  • — A one-vehicle accident was reported at 5:50 a.m. Friday on Stannards and Hanover Hill roads. Alicia M. Coleman, 38, of Whitesville, was identified as the driver. No injuries were reported.
