Police report

SARDINIA — Two Delevan residents face charges of manufacturing methamphetamine after the Erie County Sheriff’s Narcotics Unit allegedly found meth smoking and manufacturing materials in a storage unit rented by one of the suspects.

Steven Sullivan, 38, and Margaret Heim, both of Delevan, were each charged with unlawful manufacturing of methamphetamine and criminal possession of a controlled substance.

The arrests came after deputies and detectives searched the unit in Sardinia rented by Sullivan following a tip about meth-related activities.

Sullivan and Heim were transported to the Erie County Holding Center.

Olean Police

  • Tuesday, 7:27 p.m., one injury was reported from a two-vehicle accident on Constitution Avenue near Independence Drive. Kara Lee McCutcheon, 26, of 3184 Cranberry Road, Olean, reportedly struck the rear end of a vehicle operated by Zackery A. Ginnery, 25, of 3943 Gile Hollow Road, Hinsdale, which was stopped in traffic. McCutcheon complained of neck and back pain at the scene.
  • Wednesday, 7:50 a.m., no injuries were reported from a two-vehicle accident at the intersection of Avenue A and West Connell Street. Angela L. Nutt, 39, of 1607 Avenue A, was backing up when she reportedly struck a vehicle operated by William J. Phillips, 43, of 1618 Avenue A. Nutt was cited for unsafe backing, an infraction.
  • Wednesday, 2 p.m., one injury was reported from a two-vehicle accident on Wayne Street near North Union Street. Frederick A. Lewis, 62, of 111 N. 13th St., Olean, allegedly struck a bicycle operated by Gerald Lapiere, 58, of 130 N. Barry St., Olean, which was reportedly attempting to cross the street between stopped vehicles. Lapier reportedly suffered minor forearm abrasions and was treated at the scene. Lewis was subsequently charged with second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, an unclassified misdemeanor, and unlicensed operator, an infraction. He is due back in court at a later date.
  • Wednesday, 2:27 p.m., Christopher C. Henderson, 60, of 1329 Seneca Ave., Olean, was charged with petit larceny and avoiding payment, both class A misdemeanors. The charges stem from Henderson allegedly stealing 2,420 gallons of water from the City of Olean, valued at $42.30. According to police, Henderson allegedly tampered with the water meter at his residence, causing it to give a negative reading. He was issued a ticket to appear in court at a later date.

Wellsville Police

  • Tuesday, no time provided, April M. Baldwin, 32, of Wellsville, was charged with second-degree offering a false instrument for filing, a class A misdemeanor. The charge stems from an incident reported in April. Baldwin was processed and released. She is due back in court at a later date.

  • ALLEGANY — Jeffery L. First, 72, of 3974 lot 72, Route 417, Allegany, was arrested at 8:55 p.m. Tuesday on a violation of felony probation warrant issued out of Cattaraugus County Court. First was transported to Cattaraugus County Jail and held pending further proceedings.

  • GENESEE — A one-vehicle accident was reported at 10:35 a.m. Monday on Portville Obi Road near Foote Lane. Crystal Marie Brooks, 35, of Portville, was identified as the driver. No injuries were reported.
  • ALLEGANY — A one-vehicle accident was reported at 7:20 a.m. Tuesday on Interstate 86 near West Five Mile Road. Kim L. Otto, 34, of Lewis Run, Pa., was identified as the driver. No injuries were reported.
  • WELLSVILLE — Kelly A. Donoghue, 35, of Bolivar, was charged at 3 p.m. Tuesday with petit larceny, a class A misdemeanor. Donoghue was issued a ticket to appear in court at a later date.
  • ISCHUA — A two-vehicle accident was reported at 3:25 p.m. Tuesday at the intersection of Route 466 and West Shore Road. Eugene N. Nara, 83, of Naples, Fla., and Deimiane A. Fountain, 22, of Allegany, were identified as the drivers. No injuries were reported.
  • BELFAST — A one-vehicle accident was reported at 4:35 p.m. Tuesday on Route 19 near County Road 17. Devin M. Peterson, 22, of East Concord, was identified as the driver. No injuries were reported.
  • HINSDALE — A one-vehicle accident was reported at 5 p.m. Tuesday on Interstate 86 near exit 28. Jodi Lynn Randall, 53, of Cuba, was identified as the driver. No injuries were reported.
  • GRANGER — A one-vehicle accident was reported at 9:35 p.m. Tuesday on County Route 15 near Chapman Road. Linda J. Worthington, 75, of Hunt, was identified as the driver. No injuries were reported.
  • BOLIVAR

— A 13-year-old Bolivar male was charged at 10:54 p.m. Tuesday with second-degree menacing, a class A misdemeanor. The charge stems from an incident reported May 28. The juvenile was issued a ticket to appear in court at a later date.
