Police report

CATTARAUGUS COUNTY — Four arrests resulted from an underage drinking enforcement detail made by New York State Police at 11 establishments in Cattaraugus County Friday.

The following people were arrested under the New York Alcoholic Beverage Control Law, Section 65-Prohibited sale to a person under the age of 21:

  • YORKSHIRE — Thomas A. Matsuyama, 22, of Delevan, an employee of Crosby’s at 7 Main St Delevan, was charged at 7:30 p.m. Friday with prohibited sale of alcoholic beverage, a class A misdemeanor. Matsuyama was issued an appearance ticket.
  • MACHIAS — Donald J. Knight, 67, of Delevan, an employee of The King’s Inn 9982 State Route 16 Machias, was charged at 7:50 p.m. Friday with prohibited sale of alcoholic beverage, a class A misdemeanor. Knight was issued an appearance ticket.
  • YORKSHIRE — Barbara A. Cook, 50, of Farmersville Station, an employee of Shelly’s Roadside Bar and Grill at 10924 Route 16 Delevan, was charged at 8:20 p.m. Friday with prohibited sale of alcoholic beverage, a class A misdemeanor. Cook was issued an appearance ticket.
  • ELLICOTTVILLE

— Alfred J. Pawlikowski, 44, of Colden, an employee of Finnerty’s Tap Room 5 E Washington St Ellicotville, was charged at 9:35 p.m. Friday with prohibited sale of alcoholic beverage, a class A misdemeanor. Pawlikowski was issued an appearance ticket.

Olean Police

  • Saturday, 3:41 a.m., Aaron J. Fidurko, 22, of 478 Indiana Ave., Olean, was charged with unlawful possession of marijuana, a violation, and parking violation on highway, an infraction. Police report the charges were made following a suspicious vehicle interview. Fidurko was issued an appearance ticket and is due to appear at City of Olean Court at a later date.
  • Saturday, 10:44 a.m., no injuries were reported in a two-vehicle accident on West State and North 24th streets. Police report that Susan A. Sluga, 66, of 2856 Boyer Road, Randolph, was reportedly exiting the Tops parking lot when she struck a vehicle driven by Diane E. Guay, 59, of 147 N. 8th St., Olean. Sluga was ticketed for failure to yield right of way.

Salamanca Police

  • Friday, 12:46 a.m., Dorian K. Jacobs, 23, of Steamburg, was charged with driving while intoxicated, aggravated driving while intoxicated and operating a motor vehicle with a blood alcohol content greater than 0.08 percent, unclassified misdemeanors. Jacobs was processed, arraigned and sent to Cattaraugus County Jail on an active parole warrant.
  • Friday, 3:24 a.m., Jade A. Vincent, 21, of Salamanca, was charged with second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, an unclassified misdemeanor. Vincent was processed and bailed out and is due back in court at a later date.
  • Friday, 10:38 a.m., Paul S. Shelburne III, of Salamanca, was arrested on an active arrest warrant. Shelburne was processed and arraigned.
  • Friday, 10:55 a.m., Markus C. Bowen, 27, of Salamanca, was charged with; criminal obstruction of breathing/blood circulation and endangering the welfare of a child, class A misdemeanors; and second-degree harassment, a violation. Bowen was processed and released.
  • Friday, 12:02 p.m., Sarah V. Hayden, 22, of Salamanca, was charged with endangering the welfare of a child, a class A misdemeanor. Hayden was processed and issued an appearance ticket.
  • Friday, 1:45 p.m.,

Rachael V. Mehmel, 33, of Salamanca, was charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, class A misdemeanors. Mehmel was processed and held for arraignment.

Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office

  • RANDOLPH — Michael S. Cook, 46, of 3551 County Line Road, Kennedy, was charged at 1:41 p.m. Monday on an arrest warrant issued by City of Salamanca Court. Cook was transported to Salamanca Police Department, where he was released with an appearance ticket. He is due to appear in court at a later date.

New York State Police

  • BIRDSALL — A one-vehicle accident was reported at 10:05 a.m. Friday on County Road 15B near Fitch Hill Road. Scott J. Willmart, 48, of Angelica, was identified as the driver. One injury was reported.
  • AMITY — Jordan H. Mullins, 28, of Belmont, was charged at 12:02 p.m. Friday with third-degree assault with intent to cause physical injury, a class A misdemeanor. Mullins was issued an appearance ticket.
  • WELLSVILLE — A two-vehicle accident was reported at 2:47 p.m. Friday on Stannards Road near Hanover Hill Road. Jarod T. Poulin, 28, of Cuba, and Robert A. White, 46, of Wellsville, were identified as the drivers. No injuries were reported.
  • FREEDOM — A one-vehicle accident was reported at 4:45 p.m. Friday on Route 98 near Moore Road. Nancy E. Wyant, 54, of Jasper, was identified as the driver. No injuries were reported.
  • YORKSHIRE — Ralph S. Souder, 50, of Yorkshire, was charged at 11:00 p.m. Friday with; criminal mischief with reckless property damage, a class A misdemeanor; second-degree harassment with physical contact and unlawful possession of marijuana, violations. Souder was held on an undisclosed amount of bail.
  • BELMONT — Peter M. Gambino, 52, of Belmont, was charged at 11:20 p.m. Friday with; driving while intoxicated and operating a motor vehicle with a blood alcohol content greater than 0.08 percent, unclassified misdemeanors; and unsafe turn/failure to signal, an infraction. Gambino was issued an appearance ticket.
  • FRIENDSHIP — Edward W. Elling, 42, of Friendship, was charged at 12:04 a.m. Saturday with driving while intoxicated and operating a motor vehicle with a blood alcohol content greater than 0.08 percent, unclassified misdemeanors. Elling was issued an appearance ticket.
  • HINSDALE — Carie M. Collins, 36, of Olean, was charged at 12:45 a.m. Saturday with unlawful possession of marijuana, a violation. Collins was issued an appearance ticket.
  • OLEAN — Luke R. Aldrich, 33, of Hinsdale, was charged at 1:37 a.m. Saturday with driving while intoxicated with previous conviction in the last 10 years and aggravated driving while intoxicated with prior conviction, class E felonies. Aldrich was held on an undisclosed bail bond.

Pennsylvania State Police

  • KEATING — Chad C. Reed, 27, of Smethport, was charged on Thursday, June 13 with failure to comply with a protection order in place. Reed was arraigned with bail set at $5,000 and placed in McKean County Jail.
  • EMPORIUM —

A one-vehicle accident was reported at 1:03 p.m. Friday on Stare Route 120 near Mason Run Road. Lynn B. Miller, 67, of Austin, was identified as the driver. One injury was reported.
