OLEAN — Those wanting to dine at the annual Christmas Day Community Dinner hosted by St. Mary of the Angels Church must get their reservations in by Friday for dine in, take-out or home delivery, organizers said.

The parish serves a complete ham dinner on Christmas Day with dine in from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m.; take-outs from noon to 12:30 p.m. at the church; and home deliveries beginning at 11 a.m. The dinners are free and available to anyone who makes a reservation.

Dinner includes potatoes, mixed vegetables, an applesauce cup, pineapple, rolls, dessert and a treat bag.

To reserve a dinner, call St. Mary of the Angels’ parish office at 372-4841 between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. Monday through Friday. On weekends, call (814) 598-0158 between 9 a.m. to noon.

Entrance to the church dining hall is located at the South First Street lower level door of the building.

St. Mary of the Angels parish serves up to 900 dinners each year on Christmas Day for this annual event, which the parish has hosted for more than 15 years. Held in conjunction with the Greater Olean Association of Churches, the dinner is also supported by monetary and food contributions from several organizations and the public at large.
