Olean Police

• Sunday, 2:19 p.m., no injuries were reported in a two-vehicle accident. A vehicle operated by Katelynn A. Sheridan, 26, of 307 Lake Road, Ontario, was backing out of a parking space on East Green Street when it reportedly struck a parked car registered to John J. Kasper, 56, of 207 E. Green St., Olean. Sheridan was charged with unsafe backing, an infraction.

• Monday, 12:47 p.m., Shawn E. Washington, 28, currently incarcerated in Allegany County Jail, Belmont, was charged on a violation of probation warrant. He was reportedly hiding in a closet when found at 311 N. 15th St. in Olean. He was held for transfer to Cattaraugus County Jail.

Salamanca Police

• Sunday, 11:43 p.m., Emily J. Nephew, 18, of 145 West Ave., Salamanca, was charged with second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, an unclassified misdemeanor, and operating a motor vehicle without an inspection certificate, a violation. Charges stem from a traffic stop on Swan Street. She was issued appearance tickets and is due in Salamanca City Court Nov. 14.

Wellsville Police

• Thursday, no time provided, Cindy L. Davenport, 46, of Bradford, Pa., was arrested on a bench warrant issued from Wellsville Village Court charging her with failure to appear in court and/or pay fine on a previous third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, an unclassified misdemeanor, and other unnamed vehicle and traffic charges. She was located in Scio by New York State Police and taken into custody, where she was released and due back in Wellsville Village Court Nov. 20.

• Thursday, no time provided, Samuel F. Shepard, 22, of Whitesville, was charged with third-degree assault, a class A misdemeanor, stemming from an alleged incident that took place Wednesday on South Brooklyn Avenue. He was processed, arraigned, released and due back in Wellsville Village Court Nov. 20.

• Friday, no time provided, Sarah L. Suzara, 35, of Wellsville, was charged with third-degree criminal mischief, a class E felony, and second-degree harassment, a violation, stemming from an alleged incident on Maple Avenue. She was processed, released and is due in court at a later date.

• Friday, no time provided, Jarrette R. LaFlash, 33, of Wellsville, was charged with criminal obstruction of breathing or circulation, a class A misdemeanor, and second-degree harassment, a violation, stemming from an alleged incident on Madison Street in September, 2017. He was located by Allegany County Sheriff’s Office and taken into custody at Allegany County Jail. LaFlash was processed, arraigned and remanded to the county jail on $1,000 cash bail. He is due back in Wellsville Village Court today.

• Friday, no time provided, Robert N. Young, 29, of Wellsville, was charged with second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, an unclassified misdemeanor; and resisting arrest, seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and operating a motor vehicle out of ignition interlock restriction all class A misdemeanors. Charges stem from an alleged traffic stop on School Street. Young was processed, arraigned and remanded to Allegany County Jail on $1,000 cash bail. He is due back in Wellsville Village Court Nov. 20.

• Saturday, no time provided, Kevin D. Souter, 30, of Wellsville, was charged with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, an unclassified misdemeanor, and speed in zone, an infraction. Charges stem from a traffic stop on Bolivar Road. He was issued traffic citations, released and is due in Wellsville Village Court Nov. 13.

• Sunday, no time provided, Christopher J. Schneider, 50, of Wellsville, was charged with driving while intoxicated and operating a motor vehicle with a blood alcohol content of 0.08 percent or greater, both unclassified misdemeanors; failure to stop at a stop sign, a violation; and improper signal. Charges stem from a traffic stop on Martin Street. He was processed, issued an appearance ticket, released to a third party and due in Wellsville Village Court Nov. 27.

New York State Police

• CUBA — A one-vehicle accident was reported at 10:43 a.m. Sunday on Interstate 86 off ramp. Andrew Miles, 22, of Fillmore, was identified as the driver. No injuries were reported.

• FREEDOM — A one-vehicle accident was reported at 3:25 p.m. Sunday on Bixby Hill and California Hill roads. Jasmine Lashae Huey, 21, of Arcade, was identified as the driver. One injury was reported.

• MACHIAS — A one-vehicle accident was reported at 5:36 p.m. Sunday on Route 242 and Very Road. Elizabeth S. Ball, 55, of East Aurora, was identified as the driver. No injuries were reported.
