CENTERVILLE — New York State Police announced Tuesday that a Rushford man has died following a weekend collision in Allegany County.
Troopers responded to a two-vehicle collision on County Road 36 in Centerville at 12:55 p.m. Sunday. Further investigation revealed that a 1998 Harley-Davidson motorcycle was traveling southbound and crossed over the centerline into the northbound lane, striking a 2014 Toyota head-on.
The operator of the Harley-Davidson, Jeffrey W. Clark, 29, of Rushford, was transported to Wyoming County Hospital in Warsaw, where he was pronounced dead.
State police’s Collision Reconstruction Unit and Bureau of Criminal Investigation assisted in the investigation.
