Olean Police

  • Tuesday, 2:15 p.m., no injuries were reported from a two-vehicle accident at the intersection of North 12th and Reed streets. Alissa Rae Hodge, 34, of 1212 S. Bolivar Road, Bolivar, reportedly pulled into the intersection and struck a vehicle operated by Joan M. Strucker, 87, of Willow Street.
  • Tuesday, 2:49 p.m., no injuries were reported from a two-vehicle accident in a parking lot on Washington Street near North 17th Street. Barbara A. Stephan, 58, of 1310 W. Sullivan St., was pulling into a parking space when she reportedly struck an unoccupied parked vehicle, causing minor damage.
  • Wednesday, 10:15 a.m., no injuries were reported from a two-vehicle accident in the Holiday Park Center parking lot on West State Street. Anne M. Altiere, 52, of 2326 Sheldon Drive, Allegany, and Suzanne Visciano, 45, of 48 Leavenworth St., Cattaraugus, were reportedly both backing out of parking spaces when they collided.

  • NEW ALBION — Paul S. Shelburne, 26, of Brocton, was charged at 4:22 p.m. Oct. 22 with driving while intoxicated and aggravated driving while intoxicated, unclassified misdemeanors; failure to maintain lane and having an open container inside a motor vehicle, infractions. The charges stem from a one-vehicle accident on Snyder Hill Road. Shelburne was processed and released with tickets to appear in court at a later date.
  • STEAMBURG — Amanda S. Sendall, 33, of Gerry, was charged at 5:20 p.m. Oct. 27 with third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, a class B felony; second-degree obstruction of governmental administration and seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, class A misdemeanors; second-degree criminal use of drug paraphernalia and false personation, class B misdemeanors. The charges stem from the investigation into a complaint of a woman sleeping in a vehicle at the Turtle Pit Cafe and Smoke Shop. During the investigation, deputies allegedly found methamphetamine, heroin and other unspecified drug paraphernalia. Sendall was processed and released and is due back in court at a later date.
  • CONEWANGO — Forrest R. Smucinski, 21, of 161 Main St., Randolph, was arrested at 6:31 p.m. Oct. 28 on an arrest warrant issued out of Olean City Court. Smucinski was transported to Olean City Police Department, where he was held pending further proceedings.
  • OLEAN — David E. Davis, 42, of 111 N. Clinton St., was arrested at 9:40 p.m. Oct. 30 on an arrest warrant issued out of Yorkshire Town Court. Davis was processed and released and is due back in court at a later date.
  • SALAMANCA — A two-vehicle accident was reported at 11:47 a.m. Monday on Administration Drive. Kaitlynn M. Miller and Yvonne B. Cooper were identified as the drivers. No injuries were reported.
  • GRAFTON, Ohio — Martin P. Swartzmiller, 55, of Grafton, was arrested at 10:45 a.m. Tuesday on a bench warrant issued out of Cattaraugus County Supreme Court. Swartzmiller was taken into custody after his release from the Grafton Correctional Institution and transported to Cattaraugus County Jail, where he was held pending arraignment.
  • FARMERSVILLE — Christopher M. McGranor, 37, and Whitney D. Morgan, 26, both of 1014 Elton Road, Farmersville, were charged at 1 p.m. Wednesday with endangering the welfare of a child, a class A misdemeanor. The charges stem from an incident reported in September. McGranor and Morgan were processed and released with tickets to appear in court at a later date.

  • FRANKLINVILLE — A one-vehicle accident was reported at 6:43 a.m. Tuesday on Route 16 near Pierce Hill Road. David Lawrence Linderman, 45, of Franklinville, was identified as the driver. No injuries were reported.
  • WILLING — A one-vehicle accident was reported at 10:06 a.m. Tuesday on State Route 19 near County Route 39. Jeremy J. Uadiski, 40, of Williston, N.D., was identified as the driver. No injuries were reported.
  • WELLSVILLE — April M. Baldwin, 32, of Friendship, was charged at 11:22 a.m. Tuesday with fourth-degree grand larceny, a class E felony. The charge stems from an incident reported June 27. Baldwin was processed and released with a ticket to appear in court at a later date.
  • PORTVILLE — A one-vehicle accident was reported at 12:04 p.m. Tuesday on Portville-Ceres Road near Prosser Road. Elizabeth Miriah Karnes, 28, of Ceres, was identified as the driver. No injuries were reported.
  • SALAMANCA — An 18-year-old Little Valley male was charged at 2:40 p.m. Tuesday with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, a class A misdemeanor; first-degree operating a motor vehicle impaired by drugs, an unclassified misdemeanor; first-degree unlawful possession of marijuana, a violation; operating a motor vehicle without an inspection certificate and no license, infractions. The male was processed and released with tickets to appear in court at a later date.
  • ALFRED — A two-vehicle accident was reported at 4:55 p.m. Tuesday on County Road 12 near Kenyon Road. Evan L. Linza, 25, of Whitesville, and Natalie I. Skwarek, 30, of Wellsville, were identified as the drivers. One injury was reported.

— A one-vehicle accident was reported at 7:56 p.m. Tuesday on Route 16 near Lippert Hollow Road. Yeager G. Daniel, 26, of Bradford, Pa., was identified as the driver. No injuries were reported.

  • FREEDOM — A one-vehicle accident was reported at 7:59 p.m. Tuesday on Bray Road near Sunset Lane. Policarpio V. Bonifacio, 59, of Arcade, was identified as the driver. No injuries were reported.
  • WELLSVILLE — A one-vehicle accident was reported at 8:28 p.m. Tuesday on Route 19 near Vossler Road. Melissa S. Fuhry, 43, of Wellsville, was identified as the driver. No injuries were reported.
  • ALLEN — A one-vehicle accident was reported at 9:05 p.m. Tuesday on County Road 15 near Botsford Hollow Road. Jeffrey Norris Luckey, 56, of Fillmore, was identified as the driver. No injuries were reported.
  • CUBA — A one-vehicle accident was reported at 9:18 p.m. Tuesday on Interstate 86 near the Friendship exit. Puthy Prok, 28, of Philadelphia, Pa., was identified as the driver. No injuries were reported.
