FARMINGDALE, N.Y. (AP) — Misonix Inc. (MSON) on Wednesday reported a loss of $2.3 million in its fiscal fourth quarter.
On a per-share basis, the Farmingdale, New York-based company said it had a loss of 25 cents. Losses, adjusted for costs related to mergers and acquisitions, came to 11 cents per share.
The maker of minimally invasive ultrasonic surgical devices for spine surgery posted revenue of $9.8 million in the period.
Misonix shares have risen 33% since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Wednesday, shares hit $21.23, an increase of 20% in the last 12 months.
