CICERO - Portville’s Devon Peace placed fourth in the triple jump at the New York State championships on Friday, recording a leap of 37-7 to break an 18-year-old school record of 37-0 held by Melissa Scutt.

Also for Portville, Jon Jones was seventh in the shot put (49-3 3/4), and the 400 relay team of Andrew LaBorde, Kassin Richards, Chris Hellwig and Luke Hellwig was 15th in 46.18.
